What to do with my life?

It's ironic that I got this off a comedy TV show but it really does make sense to me. What needs to be OK for everything to work out, when one falls it affects the rest.

At this very moment - every single pillar in my life could be improved on.

Starting from tomorrow I will be better and happier :)

learning a million things this year

You made me forget about why this is the life I chose. I wanted this so badly for a reason. I love the oppurtunity it gives to fucking pop that bubble so many of us in sydney grew up in. Not everyone in the world is asian, or willing to bend over backwards to make things work out for you like your parents are. I've learnt that living with people, even your bestfriends is harder than it seems.. I mean we even had disagreements in korea. No one can be your perfect person, being around them all the time the little things are bound to build up. Learn not to be passive agressive.. when has that ever made the situation better? Learn not to keep things in. Chances are the one you can count on is the ones you can tell everything to. Learn that its okay to cry in bed with the ones you love. And figure out who they are. Expand your circles and don't restrict yourself to live the life you imagined if its not hurting anyone then live for yourself.

Only here and now can I clearly see what I want. Can you see the kids who were raised by centrelink with the parents that can't read or write in sydney? Or is all you see the perfect north sydney girls family. We all grew up in good areas and went to good schools.. You never worked a day in your life and you complain about everything, that's not the real world. I threw myself out in the deepend so I could learn. You might look better on paper but who do you think will make the better doctor?

I've learnt the balance between uni and work, and my relationships, friendships and time for myself. Its almost impossible but it can be done. Learn confidence because 3 more years and you'll be in the real world. You've learnt you're bookwork but have you ever spoken to someone in a position where they taking your words like its gold? Can you be like the people you see now, look up to, and wonder if you'll ever get there? Baby steps start now.

Doing a 'prestigious' course in university does not make you better than others nor does it prove that you're incredibly smart. I see alot of dumb pretentious bitches who do law, med etc, full acting like they're top shit when they don't even suit the profession!

Lesson of the day: BE MODEST (even though I'm not really haha)
